Francesco Trimarchi
He was born in Messina in 1962. Already a child, he was passionate about design and drawing, but it was only in his adulthood that he perfected his techniques, exploring the interactions between light and colour, between form and space.
He began with acrylics, and his first works, made in an abstract style, captivate with their emotionality, the brightness of colours and the bold combinations of shades.
Francesco Trimarchi's art works gradually acquire a denser form, and new, more complex chromatic combinations enhance the ability to convey the ideas of the observer's intuition. Emotions soon become form, and the pictorial representation takes on a figurative character, which continues to be characterized by the natural emotionality, liveliness and fantasy of images.
His paintings are permeated with subtle emotions, love and hidden meanings, which, although not immediately recognizable, do not remain insensitive to the observer's gaze, allowing him to discover new faces of harmony and beauty from time to time.
The artist's talent is not limited to canvas - he created a characteristic series of wooden works depicting the architectural reconstruction of the buildings of his city. The series of wooden lamps and wall clocks surprises with their original design. The author is not afraid to experiment, which gives strength and uniqueness to his works.
Trimarchi has participated in many exhibitions, including international ones.
In 2020, he was invited to a major international online exhibition held in Latin America (Ecuador); in the same year, one of his works was sold at an international charity auction in Glasgow (Scotland).
In 2021, he participated in a major group exhibition of emerging artists in Rome.
Trimarchi's paintings represented Italy at the Expo-Latin Art exhibition organized in 2022 in Bogota, Colombia.
In 2022, he participated in the exhibition of Italian artists at Villa Cianciafara in Messina.
In 2023, one of his works was selected by the Barcelona city administration P.G. for the project of the urban equipment of the "staircase of art". In the same year, he exhibited at the "POD PAWIEM" Gallery of the Association of Artists Art Without Borders in Krakow, "ART FEESTIVAL" in Korea in 2024
