
Irena Lorenc
A graduate of the Jagiellonian University, lawyer, painter, member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers of the Kraków District and the ZPAP OK Painters' Circle. She creates oil paintings, acrylic paintings, pastels, and watercolours. She most often paints landscapes and her favourite flowers. The latter inspire her to create painterly and recognisable, very characteristic compositions. She has 21 individual exhibitions to her credit (including in the Kotłownia Gallery of the Kraków University of Technology, in the Jagiellonian University Museum Collegium Maius, in the "Domek Grabarza" Gallery in the Salwator district of Kraków) and a dozen or so group exhibitions, including post-plein air ones.
Annual participation in Krakow exhibitions organized by ZPAP OK such as the Christmas Salon (Palace of Art), Small Format (Raven Gallery), Krakow Artistic Meetings "Konfrontacje" (Dom Polonii), cyclical exhibitions of the Painters' Circle. Participation in the Interregional Program called "Artistic Derby Silesia - Małopolska and neighboring provinces - Presentation of Culture Creators, the aim of which was to show regional artistic achievements. Project implemented by the Art-Plus Center Foundation in Krakow, as part of the "Integration of Art" & "World of Venus" Projects.
Participation in charity auctions (including the "Give Children a Smile" Art Auction, Auction for the House of Veteran Artists of Polish Stages in Skolimów). The works are located in the Contemporary Art Gallery in Gniewino, in private collections in Poland and abroad, including Great Britain, Sweden, Belgium, Germany and Turkey. The artist is associated with the Krakow creative group "Amarant".
